The current annual subscription is £45.00
Our society has over 400 members and there is currently a waiting list for new members.
All enquiries regarding membership should be directed to the Membership Secretary, Ms Alison Oswald, 15 Copperbeech Close, Harborne, B32 2HT. Email: email@example.com.
Only current members and their guests may attend The Arts Society Birmingham lectures.
Members are asked to attend a minimum of three lectures in a season. It would be greatly appreciated if members could let the Membership Secretary know if they are unable to attend a lecture. This will allow more guests to attend.
Members are welcome to bring a guest. Please contact the Membership Secretary at least one week before the lecture to confirm that there is a space available. A guest may attend no more than two lectures per season, for a payment of £7.00 per lecture.
Waiting List members may now attend up to four lectures per season at the same fee of £7. You may come twice as a guest of a current member and twice in your own right as someone on the Waiting List.
Please contact the Membership Secretary at least a week in advance to book your place, by phone, email or letter. You may pay by cheque, made payable to The Arts Society Birmingham, cash, or on the day.
If you have booked a place and find you can no longer come, please notify the Membership Secretary.
Affiliate members are able to become volunteers and also receive The Arts Society Review, a quarterly magazine. They are not, however, entitled to attend the monthly lectures. The cost is £10.00 per year.

Membership Secretary Vacancy
Alison Oswald will be standing down from the Committee of The Arts Society Birmingham at the end of the current season having kept the Membership in excellent order for several years. The role of Membership Secretary is vital to the running of the Society and its future. This is a matter of some urgency as Alison would like someone to ‘shadow’ her while she is still on the Committee.
If you haven’t yet considered taking on a Committee role then please do so. You do not have to have been a member for years- newcomers are especially welcome.
Alison will be delighted to talk about her role to any member who thinks it is one they could fulfil.
We look forward to hearing from you …
